1. OUR SERVICE
Jenard Training provides consultation services relating to Recognition of Prior Leaning (RPL) for Applicant seeking formal recognition of existing skills and knowledge. RPL is the Australian Government Endorsed Process for giving candidates credit for skills, knowledge and experience gained through working and learning and the process is assessed by approved vocational education and training organisations (RTO).
2. DOCUMENTS AND INFORMATION REQUIRED FROM THE APPLICANT
To support the RPL assessment, the Applicant must supply Jenard Training with all genuine evidence as reasonably required. The applicant shall provide adequate evidence within 6 months. A successful RPL assessment may depend on the co-operation of the Applicant in terms of the provision of the required evidence. The supporting evidence includes:
a. Photo identification of the Applicant (e.g. a copy of Driver Licence, Medicare card, international passport);
b. Written job descriptions, references, transcripts or performance appraisals of current or previous occupation or qualification; and
c. Photo or video evidence, or such other acceptable proof of training or occupation.
3. VOCATIONAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING ORGANISATIONS
The Australian qualification is issued by the RTO. It is the responsibility of the Applicant to meet the assessment criteria and understand the fee schedules (enrolment fee, any credit transfer fee, per unit fee) of the RTO.
4. RPL ASSESSMENT
The Applicant acknowledges that the RTO may require the Applicant:
a. To undertake a practical assessment to demonstrate his/her skills to the assessor.
b. To undertake and attend interview remotely or complete a desktop review and or a technical interview.
c. To attend approved offices overseas to complete any one or all the above assessments or interviews.
We do not guarantee the success of the RTL assessment. In the event the Applicant was assessed “Not Yet Competent” or not having sufficient skills and/or knowledge, Jenard Training will support the Applicant to the best of our endeavour so that the Applicant will be to attend gap training and other opportunity to gain the knowledge and skills required.
5. OUR CHARGES AND MODE OF PAYMENT
Jenard Training is not obliged to commence any part of the service unless the first payment is made. Unless otherwise agreed, the Applicant is required to pay 50% of our charges and the balance upon issuance of the relevant qualification by the RTO. Jenard Training reserves the rights to withhold the issuance of qualification until the balance of the charges is paid.
